In 2018, Bon Volks was selected, alongside 19 other arts organisations, to take part in the Guild Programme

Guild is a new artist support programme launched in 2018 by East Street Arts. It builds on the work they do nationally through professional development and space opportunities for artists.

Funded by Arts Council England, Guild aim is to explore the issues and developments that can transform the landscape of artists’ spaces in England through resilience and sustainability.

Since 2019, Guild have been working with 20 artist led groups selected from a national call-out. Stretching the length and breadth of the country the groups demonstrate the incredible range of artists’ spaces.

East Street Arts and Guild support artist-led organisations through looking at approaches to business models, getting to know their localities and their status within them, advocating their impact on political and social environments, and profiling their reach through the support of innovative and enterprising practice.
